Re: Fire & Brimstone
Great to hear! I havent had any previous metrics for how useful the service has been. We've been planning to expand it into more of a searchable database for a long time but havent had the time to make that happen yet. This is encouraging though so maybe we'll renew our efforts.

FAB Announces Successful Kick-Off Recruiting Campagin
The numbers are in! Guild Leader Wolfstein today announced that since the start of their Guild Recruiting Campagin on Nov. 27th, they have exceeded their initial expectations. "We knew that once the word started getting out there, we would have many visitors to view our Web Site. Applicants expressed alot of enthusiasim for our Rank Up & Reward System, and were excited to see FAB as organized and focused." As a result of the successful campaign, many class slots are filling up quickly and some have been temporarily closed. "We are building the Guild with class balance in mind, and this includes folks who are interested in focusing completely on Vanguard Spheres other than Adventuring. We will temporarily close down some Adventuring classes where we are at critical mass. Once we balance out our other class numbers, we will revisit our balance sheets and consider reopening those classes again. In the meantime, any folks who are anticipating playing classes we have temporarily closed, can still apply. These folks will be moved to a waiting list. Or they also have the option of applying with a different class choice." Wolfstein also emphsized that FAB's vision is to be self-reliant, and that building the Crafting, Harvesting and Diplomacy spheres are equally important as building the Adventuring spheres. "The Guild is eager to support those who chose the Crafting, Harvesting, and Diplomacy spheres as their Primary Focus. The current Guild Recruits have contributed many ideas and great feedback on how we will accomplish this. Our crafters, harvesters and diplomats are going to be delighted with the amount of support our Adventuring Division is going to provide them." Some of the classes that have been temporarily closed are:

Re: Fire & Brimstone
Sir Wolfstein,
I really admire a guild leader such as yourself. Although I like the very tedious requirements, guild plan, and goals I am disapointed in the fact that I dont quite meet the criteria. I'm 22. I'm in the United States Air Force and in no way suckling at the parent teet. But I guess I'll have to wait till a guild such as yours has an age requirement of 22+. 1 question though sir, how do you handle military members? With deployments, TDY's etc. |

That makes me a laugh a bit. I was merely referring to your post after Mobius saying "The age of 23 was decided on because by then, most folks will have finished their schooling, have an established means of independence from parents, and be well on their way into adulthood." But no problem, thank you for answering my question. Last edited by SpudWebb : 12-16-2006 at 05:19 AM. |
