Heyo, Im here to represent Disturbed Guild. I am an officer in our guild and I wanted to tell you a little bit about us in hopes that if you feel that we are right for you that you might want to come talk to us.
We are a guild who is going to be the jack of all trades. We will be a generally small player group where we will know each others names. From what we know the raids in Vanguard are supposed to be about 20-26 people per raid and 6 people per group. What we want is to have around 40 or so people so that we may have enough to field a raid but not so much that we leave too many people out or have 2 raid groups. I never liked the aspect of being saying "woah whos the new druid?" "dude hes been in the guild for 2 weeks now." That kind of thing always either freaked me out or made me mad that I seriously didnt recognize my own guildies. We are here to PVP. We are here to raid. We are here to have fun.
As for PVPing: We will be the guys who you will see and say "oh my god run its not even worth it." And yeah I hope you will be saying that while Im healing my teammates and they are bashing your face in. We have some people very interested in PVP and we are ready to do whatever they come up with. Battlegrounds (non instanced or whatever floats your boat), siege on your city, battle in the mountains, fighting anywhere. PVP will be a fun thing to do and a major for our guild.
Raiding? We will be there getting the encounters done with our own way. We arent using the cookie cutter strategies everyone is coming up with. You will figure it out with us through wiping and experiencing it first hand. I personally enjoy raiding and I know a lot of the others do. We will raid on a schedule or when we have enough people. (it depends on how boss mobs are set up) Sorry if you're here in this game to just level to the top and be the first to kill everything stop reading now. Raiding will be for guildie advancement so we can move on in everything and enjoy doing well scripted encounters and try something new.
Fun? heeeelllll yeaahh you'll have fun. We will just chill together and talk on ventrilo and with the forums. Share what you want on the forums and make fun of the officers for playing too much or just going nuts. (Ill just act stupid on vent sometimes when it suits me) We will shoot the shit at 3am-whenever the hell you want. (best part ever)
