Looking for crafting minded guild

What we have tened to find is that if the guild is developed with the aspect of a section of pure crafters then the adventurers become the primary harvesters. our guild is looking to try something like this.. the down side to things is thatyou WILL need the adventures to help the crafter get to some of the rare materials needed for items.

IVSaken, I know where you're at with this. I'm was in the same boat, but i got in contact with some lost guildies (they went to WoW/EQ2 and i stayed in EQ1). Our little guild isnt actively recruiting, but we're taking on people from all aspects of the game when we finally do. Feel free to drop by our website, have a look, and hang out. Post your app if you want, but we wont be taking on new members until either Open Beta or Launch (we want to be organized before bringing in new folks). I'm going to be going mainly crafter myself though. Most of the guild seems to be heading towards Adv. but me and 2 or 3 others are hardcore Crafting.

At the least you can hang out on our boards and have some fun. Band of the Red Hand Great bunch of peeps, I've known some for almost 5 years, and we have some new faces too. Always nice to see more, even if not part of the guild. Although its a brand new site. Our leader didnt wanna keep on with Guild Portal, we all readily agreed . Anyone else is welcome to come on over and just hang out with us, who knows, might make some friends.

Not to hijack the thread or anything but I'd be interested in what folks thought about GuildPortal websites and why they like or dont like them.
