So who are we?

We are a multi-gaming community that was founded purely on the basis of fun and entertainment (hence the name). Admittedly we began in the world of first-person shooters however we quickly branched out into the world of MMORPGs along the way.

Some of us have chosen to officially expand into Vanguard when it is released and so we have decided to begin recruiting and preparing well in advance to make the transition that much easier.

As an MMO Guild we are in no way hardcore as that level of commitment would ruin our fun-loving aspect (and who wants a Circus that isn't fun?) however we are still involved in Raids and you can use us to aid you in grouping for any quests or loot you may be eager to get hold of, but aren't strong enough to manage on your own. As our charter says, we may be fun loving and haphazard but we know how to come charging to your rescue when the going gets tough.

We are however organised. In exchange for not pushing you too hard and allowing everyone to really enjoy themselves with a like-minded community around them, we will occasionally set dates to meet for Raids or other important events (on a frequency of once or a couple of times a week).

Recruitment

We are searching for anyone that feels comfortable around our brand of fun and friendly atmosphere (currently we are a small group, so know each other rather well) however we aren't specifically looking for any in-game classes at this moment in time. To give an idea of what you can expect from us, you won't meet anyone who will purposefully damage your character's standing with training, griefing, ninja looting or a simple refusal to help with a task, however you will have to be prepared to take hefty wipe-outs and comedy in the heat of battle with a good sense of humour.

What Else We're Looking For

We want numbers. While we have set ourselves up in other games before now, the lesson we have learnt is that our small community could use extra numbers to help us out in an MMO. We need more helping hands to take the pressure off and to really maximise our enjoyment of the game. If you have previous experience as the member of a Guild then all the better.

Please note, you will have to interact with players from other games as our forums have had as little segregation between the genres as possible, however this shouldn't pose a problem for anyone. As the game has yet to be released, we will also be looking to you to show your commitment to us through our forums and IRC server, getting to know other members and the council members will be your way of helping yourself get a respected and permanent spot in the Circus.

As you have probably also gathered, unlike many Guilds we use our forums as a major communications tool and a way of organising events. You will also have to be comfortable with it.

Just an update on this topic (and sorry this is the only thing I've posted on so far... ops: ).

We were approached recently with the question of which continent we plan on starting on. All members are free to start wherever they please, with whatever characters, however for those who are eager to stick close to a few other members of the Guild then we'd suggest Thestra to you as this is mildly more guild populated than the other continents will be. So if you had your sights set on Thestra and you're in search of an easy-going Guild then we're always looking for new recruits.

Just a bump to say that with the final phases of Beta coming and the prospect of a Winter release, the Circus have started to firm up ideas on policies and more importantly we're now looking for members.
