Forsaken - A Casual Vanguard Guild Now Recruiting!

Greetings all!

Forsaken, a casual Vanguard guild is now open for recruitment. We bring to Vanguard years of MMMORPG experience in terms of leadership and membership. Here is some information on our guild. If you are interested, feel free to check out forums.vgforsaken.com

Forsaken is founded on the basis of excellence within the MMORPG world. Forsaken strives to be the best by recruiting the best players the game has to offer. Forsaken has the experience needed to maintain a positive presence in the game. We will make ourselves well known and respected just as much. We seek players who wish to join a casual to hardcore guild without the hardcore raids and a to enjoy a fun, helpful environment.

Members are not limited to hardcore players. In fact, a majority of our members have lives, and are casual gamers. I myself am a hardcore player, and we wish to cater to both types of gamers. A fair mix will make a successful guild.

Forsaken will maintain a website, forum and ventrilo server, which will be optional for players to use. I understand that voice communication can break immersion for players, and I'm not about to do that, so, ventrilo will be used primarily for socialization, rather than raiding.


Guild Ranks

The current list of ranks for the guild are as follows, from highest to lowest. Please note that they are not yet confirmed and are subject to change.


Officer Ranks

Knight-Commander(Guildmaster)- is responsible for organizing the guild and maintaining its unity. They set policies for the rest of the guild and handle any discipline problems that may arise. The Knight Commanders promote guild members and officers. The Knight-Commandersl form alliances with other guilds to help assure our continued success.

Knight-Captain- A Knight-Captain is a legend in our guild and throughout his or her server. They are feared by the enemy as someone to be avoided at all costs. They can asses strategy on a game-wide level and make decisions that will lead their guild to success.

Knight-Lieutenant- This is an officer of the guild who helps administrate and keep the guild running on a day to day basis. Knight-Lieutenants are people who have proven they are willing to put in the time to help run the guild. Lieutenants can recruit people into our guild.

Member Ranks

Templar- A Templar is the first step of a leader who has proven that they are capable and willing to lead our forces in battle, defending our lands from invaders and taking the battle to them in their own. Templars will be relied upon heavily for organizing hunting parties, assisting in leading events, and sponsoring players for membership into the guild. This is the highest non-officer rank a member may achieve.

Crusader- This is someone who has gone consistently above and beyond the call of duty to help their guildmates and advance the glory and reputation of the guild. No Crusader will be promoted until they have distinguished themselves from their peers. This rank can sponsor players into the guild.

Knight- This is someone who has been in the guild for quite some time, and understand not only game mechanics, but the morals, ethics and values of the guild. They strive for excellence within the guild and are active both within the game and the forums. Members of this rank may sponsor people interested in joining the guild.

Warder- After a Guildsman has been in the group for a period of time and they have demonstrated an excellent grasp of game strategy and mechanics, they will be promoted to Warder. This is someone other people look to for help when they have trouble or questions.

Guildsman- If after two weeks Paiges have shown themselves to be worthy members of our guild and they have completed their character registration on our forums, they will be promoted to Guildsman.

Paige- All people new to the Forsaken guild start here for a period of two weeks.


Guild Charter

Although rules and regulations are minimal in the guild, there are some basic characteristics we hold members to in every game world. Integrity is to display honor and loyalty. We are not greed or grief players, live and let live is how we play. Should an outsider cross the line of appropriate behavior, however, we will not back down. We do not tell others how to play their game, but will not tolerate others telling us how to play ours. We strive to experience all areas of game play, and encourage our members to find what aspect of their world entices them the most. All members are experts at some one thing, sharing that expertise is being a community. What you know about strategy or tactics, your mate may not, and it is the responsibility of every member to increase the knowledge of group. Share your knowledge, for knowledge truly is wealth.

Forsaken guild members will agree to and maintain a code of ethics at all times. This code shall always put the guild before personal gain or interest. Communication within the community, be it in the form of posts on our private forums, through our private ventrillo channel, or in game guild chats or chat groups, will remain within the community. Passing any form of information that jeopardizes the integrity of the guild to outside members of the community about the guild or its members, regardless of the effects, will be means for immediate removal and banishment from the guild.
