Who is REALLY here??

Have you ever wondered?

When a new site for some new game, or maybe a new guild, goes online, have you ever wondered who some of those people really are? Things they say, or spellings of their names might cause you to wonder if it's really them, but you don't want to blatantly blurt out, "HEY! Are you Objob from Pastgame Memories??" Maybe you don't want some people to associate your new ID with an old character, or you don't want to blow it for them, but you're afraid to really ask! Or, maybe you're just wishing someone you know is on the boards, but you're not sure and don't know how to find out!

It's much like wondering about old classmates, isn't it? Or perhaps an old flame that might have lost his hair? Or she's lost 150 pounds and you're just not sure, right?

I know I've wondered about many people in the OVF, but because of issues (or whatever), I'm not going to come out and ask them point blank. I've read many posts from people that sound a lot like ME even (scarey thought), so I know that others could be wondering if they're me, or I'm them, or...you get the picture. Sooo...I thought about it and decided, "Why not!?"

Well, VanguardSpheres would like to have some fun and help unravel some of the mysteries encircling this oddity: Online Friendships!

Here are the rules:

1. Make sure you're registered on our site (no, silly...this is NOT a push to get numbers. Numbers lie! "How many accounts do you have?" "5m" "How many players on the servers?" "479" ).

2. Rather than post information that some folks would rather keep quiet, post a situation or a "code word" that only the person/people you're looking for would understand.

3. If you recognize the code, send that person back a PM with a counter-code and see if they respond appropriately.

4. Should we have a "winner", it's all good! You can post a "BINGO!" of "YAY" but don't devulge any information that some would rather keep quiet. On the other hand, if it's funny and you think we'd enjoy it, by all means!

Geeky? More than a little wierd? Yup, but then, we're gamers. NOW tell me what's "geeky" and "wierd!"

I joined a guild called DARK on a certain game and have actually joined guilds on other games also called DARK. But whenever I bring up if anyone was in this DARK or that DARK they all act like im crazy.

eh i'm only in 2 games anymore.
EQ1 I'm known as Divero (can ya tell from the Sig?) or one of my main alts (being Diverodos or MiniAbe Lincoln). Although I would be most recognized by guildies from either Clan Skallagrim or Cursed Brotherhood or the Drinal (or Tarew Marr) server.

on RuneScape (yes, i do play that once in awhile, when i'm sick of EQ1) i'm known as Xpheonixx. RS isnt really a good game, but it kills time when checking my email for that Beta invite
