I am me...same name on all the boards. Ingame I probably won't have the same name though. EQ is my first and current mmopg....Ice was created on a cold January day in 2001....the day the weather decided to ice us.

I have been Vlawde in EQ for years and am elsewhere on the internet, but my first EQ toon was Obishinobi. I started on Ayonae Ro. Was in a guild called Reign of Shadows and then Spirits of Confusion, and I started a Shadowknight Vlawde. Several years ago I transferred everyone over to Maelin Starpyre and am with Guardians of the Throne

Originally Tbath on EQ 1, and moved to SWG as Kitalowe from the guild Unity. I have bounced back and forth from server to server on EQ2 over the past 2 years as Oscoo and Axis, I'm sure I'll have a new name in Vanguard as well. We as a guild are going to try the evil side of things however this time. If of course they put pvp in from the start. Seems that's still up in the air yet however.

Am in a minority here, never having played any EQ variant, instead:

WoW - Silversong (?) Ganashal (wouldn't allow Shoboat !) Druid lvl 60 Feral/Healer
Empire of Istara - lvl 25ish - Shoboat - mostly crafter - didn't play long; constant crashing

I used to have a friend (RL) and we played quite a few MMO's together. Went by the name of Spyderman in most of them or just Spyder (sure alot of people go by that one). Haven't seen him in years now.

Anyhow, I remember this guy wanted to buy a piece of armor from me in Faldon (My char name was Dusty) and he kept calling me "Dusky"....sadly this has become one of my various nick names. If you see this by chance, throw me a PM.

Hmmm Long and Involved answer there. Sec Let me pull up some info. This is a reprint of a post I made On the Official Vanguard Forums And if your interested in the thread Here it is.

IF you played EQ1 and were a bard or on Viriona Vie you may have heard of Molto Espressivo. The all Bard guild. Well I was fondly rembering my former guild. So much so that I decided to post this.

However here is a brief timeline.

Synopsis Follows:

On January 3 (Klapton was a Moderator on EQDiva and is now one on the Vanbard Forums.)
Klapton Started a topic that alot of us bards responded to. (it had been kicked around before but nothing came of it.)Original thread on the Old EQDiva forums

" Six of us roll fresh Bards on some server. We agree to group together once a week--no playing those toons except together.
." Klapton posted.

Profundox Responds
"Con's first, because there are more of them.

A) Tough to find 18 songs (6x3 twist) that would be useful.
B) Zero conversation to read during battle.
C) A whole bunch of competition for red and white dragon scales.

On the Pro side:
It would be a hell of a lot of fun."

There is an overwellming respons to this. So much so that Klapton Changed his tune and decides to start a guild on Firiona Vie

Yes there was one or two naysayers.

"This pointless guild makes me ROFL IRL." Says Darksong. We ignore him. Even tho Klapton Invited him to join us and Have FUN being a bard again. Darksong says nay Bard epic is to stressfull. We did have a pretty inteligent conversation after that tho. Well Semi inteligent. Darksong Always had his fanbois (or his alternate accounts??) to cheer him on.



At 24 Jan 03 6:51am Klapton posted this in our offical forums on EQDiva. That Kocho was nice enough to provide us. The Old Molto Forums on the Old EQdiva Forums.

"The guild application was submitted last night successfully. We got our 10 peeps to #approveguild, and now we wait.

The GMs will review our charter, and get back to me to make an ingame appointment. Once I meet a GM ingame, we are a guild!"


2/5/03 guild was officially formed. (sony accepted our guild.)

The rest was pretty much history. I got deployed to Iraq. (My posts from Iraq)Gone 13 months. Of course the original guild mebers was in there 50s by then. Feroce gifted me with Some Great Tradeskilled Armor and a few cool weapons. Harp's Magelo

Next step in Molto was Forming a secondary support Guild Called Nellarmonia and to seek Raid Aliances. Feroce and Klapton were definatly pivitol in this.

But Alas every good thing comes to a end. EQ2 came out and alot of people moved on to that. Some had gotten maried and/or joined the military, SOme faded away.

We do keep running into each other!!!
Klapton Has kept Us posted on the Happenings with Vanguard.
Hes even starting a guild In Vanguard Called Harmony. (hopefully we get the guild invite over the next few weeks.)

Now If yer really interested Read the links too. (I'v turned them blue and underlined them as there not that easy to see under some color schemes.

But believe me Back before the PBAoE Nerf to bards AoE's 6 bards in a group would trash anything. THe lead bard would grab a mob and kite it in a circle around the rest who played Chords. (eq1's bards first aoe.) One bard would twist health, another would twist in Selos. one on resists. Some would bellow as well or use other DoTs. While the Kiting bard would use all Of his AoE's and or DoT's (Chords was the only bard AoE that stacked after a seperate Nerf a while before the AoE nerf.)

Plus seeing that many bards running in a group playing there drums was kinda cool too.

wow man Raolinx thanks alot for that, was really a pleasant stroll down memory lane there, Bards used to go so hardcore, I loved how preluclin char models played instruments, that was good times. I loved my bard so much, such a uber class. My favorite was the half elf mask attained from a zone I can't even remembers name, I got the mask after camping a sick amount of hours killing some fool named zed... haha and all his bandit flunkies(wasn't as bad as a camp as the halfling mask tho).
