Suggestion for gameplay
I note that after a mob dies, its name sits on the upper right hand corner of my screen til I hit escape.
Its annoying to always have to deal with that. Okay why not instead, as in other games, do this: Make it so that all you have to do is left click on the ground or sky, to get rid of the obsolete targetted mob, or npc that just ported you. Sometimes that targetting gets bugged and you can't get rid of it at all. So how about it. Thanks Cendari - multiple chars ported from beta to test on release. |

How about allowing ..when you are examining an item that just dropped... Allowing a cross reference tooltip that shows the current item you are wearing, and the dropped item for easy comparison as to whether or not you really want to wear the new one or just vendor trash it. Little conveniences. One more thing..the arrow that indicates our character on the world map..could we at least make it a distinguishing colour other than grey...everything is grey ...the marker could be green or whatever, just makes it easier to see (for us older folk ;P) Cendari |

I may not notice the problem you have expressed much since I tend to use the keyboard to cycle through potential targets most of the time I am moving around -- the old target gets replaced almost immediately.

Re: Suggestion for gameplay
Hit ctrl when reading the info on an item and it brings up what you're wearing in that particular slot.

What I am referring to as well re old targets left sitting up top is, if you are ported (or at least this was prior to SOE taking over) and you land on the other side, that porting npc's name was sometimes bugged on your screen, the only way to get rid of it (couldn't hit esc to delete it either) was to run and find something to target..to change it, then you could get rid of it. All I am suggesting is some sort of clickable interface (?) not sure if that is exactly what I am asking for (not a techie hehe) but I think you get the picture. Left click sky or ground and target is gone, you continue about your business. Cend |

Re: Suggestion for gameplay
On my setup the compare modifier is SHIFT, not CTRL, but I may have changed that myself and just not remember. I've been able to compare things from quest info windows but haven't tried with loot windows yet I don't think.
Clicking nothing clears target would be pretty welcome, though since I'm a bit trigger happy with clicks I'd probably prefer double-click. Either way would be nice though.
