test crashing at loading screen

So I was experiencing more bugs than usual today so thought a full file scan might help. Didn't get any files updated. So I figured if I deleted binTest and AssestsTest and had it redownloaded, perhaps that would help. It redownloaded them but now the test server crashes on me at the loading screen. Oops. Sigh, any helpful suggestions?

Post your vgclient.log or look thru it. Sigil is very good at recording what is causing problems in there.

Your missing the shader's engine. Try a full file scan also see if you can still access live. If both sides are crashing you may have to reinstall.

got it to work through the live folder i had. did a full file scan aon the test folder and its till doesnt work. oh well, ill have to recopy over that folder tongiht i guess. thanks for the help venti

Looking up higher in your log I see some things that lead me to believe that the problem is in your bintest folder.

please delete this folder and repatch test.

Hey all, first post , I was going to start a new post but this one seemed very similar to my current problem as well.

First off, I've never logged into beta and/or VG ever! I've had this core.dll(VG) and sc.ll(launcher) error when I tried to DL and enter open beta. I thought it was just a pre-release issue and decided to put it off until I bought the retail version--hoping it would take care of itself. Suprise suprise, obviously it didn't.

I'm very interested in this game but unfortunately I've almost used up what little patience left dealing with SOE chat help and downloading "patches" for days now.
