Any chance for moves?
I have a few beta characters on Test atm, but would really like to get my live characters moved over to Test. Any word on if or when movelogs might be in place for Test server?

Not trying to disuade you me friend but I have "NEVER" seen a move option to a test server..and I have played EQ1 ('99), Lineage 2 (gods the botters!), DDO (I have to quest for what?!), etc, and ETC 2, hehaha
 Sorry mate the powers that be want to control the server from start to finish otherwise it makes it MUCH harder to find out what the problens are... Nothing personal but it makes sense. IMHO...and I'm not "too" humble.

EQ2 allowed players to move toons from line to Test, as did WoW. I'm almost certain I also moved from live to Test in EQ. In both EQ2 and EQ the moves were allowed in very short time frames to bolster the population just enough to keep testing environment viable.
At this stage, the Test Server in VG is pretty weak bordering on dead. 30 people online at a time. Hope more show soon. |

WoW allowed character copies to the test server from time to time but, the WoW test server wasn't really a fulltime server. It was more up to test specific things then brought down again. It always seemed to be down more then up when I used to play. That was a long time ago though.
One problem they'll have doing it here is this is the old beta server and just about every name under the sun is gone. Going to be more name conflicts then not. |
