An observation i had.

My wife and i played for approx 3 hours last night on test, during that time neither of us had any crashes to desktop.

Since we started in open beta, not one time have we had a crash free play session like that.

Does anyone else notice less lag, less hitching, less crashing on test compared to the live servers?

I find it intersting how on live servers i crash about 1 to 2 times per hour, since i started playing vanguard, and on test i played for 3 hours straight with no issues. If this is going to be how my play experience goes on test, ill be staying till they shut it down.

Seriously i can set my watch to my crashes while playing on florendyl. At 26 minutes of playtime i know i have about 5 minutes left. Like clockwork everytime i ctd. I chalked it up to my machine. Now im wondering if its my machine after all.

Probably has to do with population density and fixes not yet pushed to live

Flo I don't crash...perhaps it's yer machine...I saw a post on "Silky Venom" about making your machine run better on Vanguard...honestly it sounds like you have a progrem kicking you off..like anti-virus or somthing.

Then it would do it in Test as well.

The only other thing to consider is that you might have a problem with your regular installation that is not present in the test installation.

A full file scan might be a good idea.

You are the winner. I followed your advice, i knew it wasnt a program on my machine. I did a full file scan and it downloaded a few files. Now i havent crashed since. Thank you for the suggestion.

Re: An observation i had.

I'm going to do that full scan also. I went for a week or two without crashing and now (for the last 7 or 8 days) one of my computers crashes ever so often. I figure it was just a problem with a patch but now....
