Test Server Present Ruleset

To put to rest the doubts and fears of playing on test server here is the present plan.

This is all subject to change, but we will attempt not to. I will edit this list if or when it changes.
  • Double XP Curve. Unless we are testing something with the normal curve.(Will go active 3/15)
  • We do not plan to wipe any beta 1 server characters presently on test server.
  • No Rent Griffon Vendors will be spawned on occasion.
  • We will run Focus testing on the server
  • Testing and Development will ask for assistance and might even disrupt zones while testing.

I will look into if we can support Experience curve adjustments to Crafting and Skills for Diplomacy. Both of these require work from others so depending on priority and difficulty I will see if we can support this. (No Promises)

[Edit 3/15] Crafting Experience was easy enough to get done. For now it is turned on with triple XP for the weekend. This will not be turned on full time at this time, but may be on for weekends. Stay Tuned.

I did.

3 spheres, and I'm slow to boot.

Not a big deal to me, I don't even care about the DExp, but I was just asking.

Already a 21 Sorc there, and have always been drawn to Test servers becuase of the small town attitudes of them. The peace and quite of a rural community, like the Andy Griffith show, but Barney carries a crossbow instead of a service .38, Opie is a halfling, and Aunt Bea is a dwarf....

Allow Character Copy from the release servers, or I, along with 90% of others, wont be using these test servers.

Starting over from scrach isn't that bad and char copying takes to much DB time and tends to cause server issues so why bother. Wil double exp on all the time its not worth taking the time to make devs develop a new system that problably won't be all that useful. Of course thats all in my opinion.
