I kept my good tester griffon.

All I remember on the last day of beta was crashing in the caldera and not being able to log back in during the wee hours of the morning. Finally getting back on my character, the wild griffon is now not so wild and is soulbound to me and missing his rent tag.

Anyone else experience this? I'm thrilled, now I have to log on the test server every now and then just so I can fly.

Anyway, does anyone know how to start up the test server launch pad without going through the hoop of starting the regular one and then going to the test and redoing everything?

Add /testserver to the end of the target. Its in another thread on the main general thigny I started.

Hiya Geck nice to see a familiar face. I missed the griffons unfortunately..was otherwise preoccupied I assume.

There are griffon vendors in various locations on Test right now -- I found one right at the newbie spawn-point in Rindol Field, and was finally able to see what I'd missed in beta.

One word: OMG!

Crashes and other dangers notwithstanding, that was an absolutely awesome experience.

Note that these griffons are rentals, judging from the tooltip text, sort of like the horses crafters can rent, so I assume they'll disappear from inventory after a while. Not sure if one can get another after that.

True, I was playing last night and loged at 12:30am est. when i came on at 6:30am est the griffons i had on both my characters were gone. The griffon trainers were still there so i grabed another. Just for fun, I flew up to about 500 meters above a river, hovered there, and /exit'd. Now to see what happens when i get off work, and the griffon is no longer in my inventory. Don't you love testing?

I got on one today..flew around Lomshir then over the Darkhorse racetrack. Was on my way back, chunked into the Lomshire zone and crash landed..level 5 ..and me dead. lol
