Healer Mitigation Nerf...rumor?

A person in my guild just told me that they are cutting back on damage mitigation for healers. They said it's going live on test soon.

I'm going to go make a character on test because I'm very conerned about what they are planning and how it will affect bloodmages.

My bloodmage takes a pounding as it is what with her light armor, if they make it so I get hit even more or take more damage.../shudder... that's going to be very ugly indeed.

I guess I'm really just asking... is this truth or rumor?

Either way I'm still going to get on the test server so I can put in my two cents as an informed opinion rather than just plain hysteria.

Hello Ieranii,

Just so you know most of us are still working out the bugs with getting onto the Test server as it just opened the other day. However I'm sure your answer will be found soon enough should you decide to join us.

As I used to play a Bloodmage, I'll check the rumor out in the newbie areas to see if it's true.

It's in the patch notes for the test server. However, I'm 99% certain it mentions all healers except Blood Mages, who are squishy sauce enough already.

Its just for shaman, disciples, and clerics.

Blood mages are getting a buff. Reduced timer on their finishers and more HP.

First, thank you all for the replies. I'm excited about the test server! I will be dividing my time between there and my guild server but still excited all the same. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in game! Only 2 more hrs to finish the download! yay!

Woohoo!! Thank you! That eases that concern but you know there are always new ones.

I think I will still come hang out on test a bit.

Do you guys know if there will be level buffers? If there are level buffers how do you all feel about them? Will you be using them? Curiousity is my middle name!

None of us have any idea what the deal is right now.

I'm spending most of my time flying on my gryphon while I wait for some sort of official response :-X
