Game Notes: Alienware Area-51
Everquest: Run at 1600x1200 and only lag in Time A and the Bazaar with all traders on. Have about half my models turned on.
World of Warcraft Run at 1600x1200 and only lagged in Stormwind before the Auction House was moved.
Halo: Run at 1280x1024 and get no lag on the typical multiplayer levels. Got some lag in the single player game when a large number of mobs were on screen at once.
Doom 3: Run at 1280x1024 and got a good bit of lag anytime more than 3 mobs were on screen at once. Lagged quite a bit in multiplayer the one time I tried it as well
Farcry: Run at 1280x1024 and dont lag all that much. Seems to be a fairly optimized game. There were some rough spots but nothing that made me reach for the settings button to turn things down.

Nice Grey! Im saving up for the Dell 24" or maybe even 30" widescreen display. I've started building a new machine as well but it will take a few months to get it all put together.

Mine is not quite as godly just a self built little machine. I am waiting till closer to release to upgrade myself and my wifes machines. My current machine however is:

2800+ Athlon XP
1 gig of 400 Mhz Ram
2X 80 gig drives
MSI 6600 GT <-- They had the best software bundle at the time
MSI Delta motherboard which replaced my A7n8X which died on me

I will post in another thread on my future build and what I plan to put in it.

It was in Stormwind?? I don't remember it being there, and I beta tested WoW...

And yes Aredhel there was an AH in Stormwind once upon a time. Apparently its about to be reimplemented in the very near future as well.
