I am curious to know how many Florendyl players read these boards. Are there enough people, for example, for me to auction a few items exclusively on this forum and still turn a profit? I have a new shortsword that I would like to try it out on, if that is the case...

I know that many people use the forum, but the Florendyl section seems rather dead. If I don't get more than one response in four hours, it doesn't really seem worth it.

You'd likely have much better luck with the broker or just auctioning it. Even if alot of people read these boards, many folks like that instant gratification, and it just takes longer here.

The purpose was more to invite participation than anything else. Having thought about it, though, it seems that the people who don't buy crafted gear are also the ones that don't really visit the affiliates either. Ah, well.

Instead, I've come up with an alternative. In an effort to promote crafted gear, I'll be taking orders by either mail or tell for superior (meaning upgraded/rare) tin weaponry. All of the prices right now are a bit ridiculous, so I plan to undercut all of them. Here's the general layout:

1-hander (single attribute enhancement): 50s
2-handers (single attribute enhancement): 75s
Striking enhancement: 20s
Other Additional Enhancement: 10s

I'll negotiate with traded items, but only those used for weapon smithing. If you provide all of the materials, I'll assemble the weapon for 25s.

This will, of course, be slower than buying from the broker, buy it will also be cheaper.
