I am a young druidess looking to make friends with people who are serious about experiencing the journey. Our world is not set up to see how fast you can rush to the end. Lets enjoy this dance and now worry about where we end up when the song is over.

Some consider me casual, yet there is nothing casual about my drive to learn and experience all this new world has to offer. My experience growth is slow because I take time to explore. I learn my skills and don't take shortcuts.

Community, friendship, prosperity, balance, and growth are all important aspects to me.

Always nice to see people take this point of view.

It worries me every time I see a guild recruitment post that states "We are a guild focused on end-game content". Why!?

Isn't the journey part of the fun? What's fun about having everything there is to have in the game? What's fun about rushing to cap and "owning" everything as quickly as possible? It's not a competition it's a virtual world, but then I guess that's what some people see everything in life as, gotta be the best and the fastest or whatever.

It was I guess I should have made that clearer, (points to the Talladega Nights reference in it).

Ahh ok. I blocked out most of Talladega Nights. I took it as an attempt to flame. Since it wasn't, all is well now.

I'm the one that gets left behind while taking in a vista. Perhaps I will find others with a similar crusade along the way.

((I am currently waiting for my game to be delivered. It should arrive Tuesday. What profession is recommended for an adventure? I enjoy pets, stealth, being able to survive on brains not brawn. Retired SWG Ranger/Creature Handler with no interest in PvP or grinding))

i am like you, for me it's the path not the ending and being a shaman, i have to use both brawn and brains when i am wandering.
