Greetings, Adventurer!

Shadow Company is looking to add a few more to its ranks! The Company seeks only those who like to get the most out of this game with an interest in fellowship, roleplay, grouping with guildmates/friends, and exploration.

Shadow Company is modeled after a band of professional mercenary soldiers, hardened experts in their disciplines and bound together to quench their lust for power and profit. All this, while having fun! The Shadow Company boasts a quasi-military culture, with values of honor, loyalty, excellence and respect for every soldier in the command. We work together or independently, pursuing and fulfilling contracts (quests) and taking out targets of opportunity. Great opportunities exist in Shadow Company for role-playing within our mercenary framework.


What Shadow Company Offers

Active: Active leadership including scheduled hunts and questing, with roleplaying events and end-game content coming up soon. We also have active forums for when you can't be in-game.

Maturity: Most of our guild is comprised of an "older" crowd with members in the average age range of 25-40. This is not to say we have an age restriction, but we value respect and we expect a level of maturity from our members. In ranks, we have real-life teachers, PhDs, linguists, musicians, military officers/enlisted, and married couples, to name a few.

Stability: Shadow Company was formed in November 2004 and has operated continuously since that time. Shadow Company enjoys a very respected reputation in each of the rolepley and gaming communities in which we operate. This guild has a very good track record and is well-liked and respected in each game world in which we play.

Diversity: In addition to the world of Vanguard (Florendyl server), Shadow Company also has an active troops in EverQuest II (Antonia Bayle server) and in Lord of the Rings: Online (Landroval server).

Structured: Shadow Company has clear, written guidelines on conduct and how to be promoted. In addition, the guild culture and ethos is clearly stated, and observed by soldiers and officers alike.

Moderation: Shadow Company is a guild of moderation. By this, we mean that we roleplay some, we quest some, we craft some, and we raid some. However, we are not a "hardcore" guild in any one particular area. We are about having fun!

No Drama: We have a strict No Drama policy. Very refreshing.


What Shadow Company is NOT

No "lewt dudes" or kids - If you like saying the words "Sup," "Dude,", "Yo," or if you think cussing is cool, then you are not a fit for Shadow Company. If you think being the best means having all "uber" gear, then Shadow Company is not for you.

We are not a hardcore raiding guild. We look at raiding as just one aspect of a game and one more way to enjoy content.

We are not a pick-up guild - Meaning we take our time getting to know our applicants and expect you to take your time getting to know us. And regardless of class or level those that bring dishonor to Shadow Company will be removed (our conduct expectations are posted on our website).

You may be a fit with Shadow Company if:

• You like to have fun and to enable others to do the same
• Enjoy participating in guild groups and functions
• Do not tolerate nor start drama
• You respect other people and understand everyone enjoys the game in different ways
