Navigation bar at the bottom of the page?

Ok - I'll admit it right now - I'm L A Z Y (with a capital L A Z and Y as you can see)

But often when I read a thread I proceed to the last unread post in that thread and continue going from there. When I get to the bottom of the page.... I don't wanna Scroll all the way back to the top just to go back to the "Forums" link or the "<enter specific link of nave thread here>" (did that sound whiny? )

I mean, I *can* I just don't want to cause... well... see the first line of the post. Is there a way to put a nav bar at the bottom of the page (right above the "current members viewing this thread" and below the "Quick reply") for us lazy folk?

If it is a PITA to implement - feel free to respond to me with "you will scroll to the top and you will LIKE IT!!"

This has been requested several times which prompted me to add the New Posts link between the Previous Thread and Next Thread links below the last post in a thread. Putting the full navbar (dropdown menus and all) would really clutter up the bottom of the page, increase page load times and possibly conflict with the upper navbar.

you could always just add one of those 'back to top' links under the last post.


edit: was that 'top' always down there at the bottom of the page? i just noticed it when i came back to read the new post
