I wonder how much of it is testserver and how much of it is Van being out there and word spreading (as well as those who are waiting for the initial launch pains to pass before they start)

I would expect the site to continue to grow for 6-12 months. There will be the normal seasonal and whatnot flux, but all in all this is a pretty solid site.

I normally join a game because something inside it catches my interest (or someone on the QA team here at work extolls it's virtues) but I stay because of the community.

I looked for two straight days before I settled on a board "community" that I would join. Of all of the ones I visited, this one was the most informative, least inflammatory, solidly run board community out there - and the QA manager of Sigil posts here

When you have a site run as well as this one is, and a community as informative, helpful and diverse as the one here is - you should not be surprised at its continued growth - It brings people in jsut by it's sheer being

I have to say that this is my first experience as a Forum poster. The only other MMORPG I've played was WoW but never got involved in the forums. By briefly looking at other sites I have to say that a lot of it is just ramping and raging and not at all that heplfull.

Here there are funny ppl, helpful and informative and apparently all motivated to improve further and further the site. And foremost, Kethra

I think the quality is also due to the careful eye over what is going on the forums and the quick removal and lock down of threads getting out of hand. Some ranting get shut up quickly and we can move on happily.

Overall i feel happy by having lost my virginity with all of you (that sounds very weird ). Anyway, it's all good and I am sure more ppl will join in over the next year and then we will have an established community.

Wow! you chose to name your character after bottled water too?

((the whole of the story is this = I was playing AD&D 2.5 (you know - table top paper.... *sigh* anyway) I was playing D&D and I made a rogue that I wanted to hide as a bard. For two days I deliberated on a name and could not come up with one. Finally, 20 minutes before the game I said "darn it! The next thing I see is my characters name!" I looked up and saw... a bottle of Naiya bottled water))

as an aside - I have made Aquafina and Dasani to be funny. Though, they never stick around long

Actually, no. It was just a random name I came up with. I tend to use a lot of "ae"s in my names, my first name in the game I'm referring to was Aerynn. Naeya just kinda came out. Guess I've never heard of the water "Naiya." Was kinda glad of the ignorance too.
