Wiki search :D

It would be grand if when you search on the wiki, it pulled up a 'no results found' page instead of an edit screen. I think it would make the Wiki much more
'usuable' by average joes like myself

it'd also be nice if the search was 'somewhat' intelligent.

For example, searching on 'Civic diplomacy NPC' to find Correl's most supurb Civic Diplomacy NPC page, you get an edit screen instead of the actual page

I assume you are pressing the Enter key to initiate the search. The problem is, there are two buttons: "Go" and "Search", with "Go" being the default action.

So what happens is, you type in "Civic diplomacy NPC" and it tries to go the article named "Civic diplomacy NPC" instead of searching. Try clicking the search button instead.

To that end, I would really like to see this default behavior changed so that searching is the action initiated by the Enter key

Oh, well, now I'm a little embarassed. I was pressing enter instead of actively clicking on the search button. Thanks for pointing that out.

Still, the search needs to be improved. Using that same search criteria (civic diplomacy NPC's) still nets the page not found (Although it finds the main civic diplo pages).

I agree that the whole search functionality could be improved.
