Hide Wolf Shape

Devs, any chance of an option to hide Wolf Shape (illusion form) please? The animation is nice, and wolves don't look half bad, but I prefer the look of my character over some illusion form. It would be such a big deal if the form didn't include such good stats that make it pretty much a bad idea to not be in Wolf Shape when adventuring.

Oh and if you've no intention of enabling a way to turn it off, don't fix the chunk bug that hides it please.

Seriously. I got more tired than I can express of the endless snuffling and woofing of the wolf forms in EQ2. ... And here it is all over again. In between NPCs moaning, groaning, gasping and giggling every second or two, sometimes I'm just plain tempted to turn ALL voices off. But then I'd miss the halflings asking me if I have a pumpkin pie in my pants...

A bit more delay in the sound loops would be nice. However, I suspect that short of parking a dev in front of Moaning Minnie The Tursh Banker for 20 minutes, this won't happen.

Speaking of EQ2 though, they did add an option where you could hide your non-basic form. Perhaps it's not inconceivable that we'll get this here someday.

Still no word from a Dev eh? I've been busy w/ RL lately but I was hoping to stop by and see a comment along the lines of "we are looking into it" at least. This really is a big issue for any class that needs to cast these shape shifting buffs in order to get the needed stats.

They may well be looking into it and just not mentioning it, since it mostly falls under the cosmetic/small potatoes heading. Imagine - a kindly dev pops in here, makes a "yep, we're looking into it!" comment, and the world falls apart with flames from people who retort "Jeez, look into REAL bugs instead you morons!" (or some equally highbrow equivalent).

Damned if they do, damned if they don't. I'd guess it's something that might get done, someday, but not something that's all that large on the radar atm.

Good point. That may well be true. I just hope they are working on this as it's currently my only problem with Vanguard.

I maybe can solve this.. but you must be + lvl 30 to get this thing working.
First you buff yourself with Wolf Shape and then you use your wonder, Wolf Pack, that you get at lvl 30. Dunno if this works for everyone but when I buff my party with Wolf Pack, everyone turns into wolfs excepts me who turns back into normal shape.

Must be some bug but its pretty nice to skip the wolfshape for a while

Like wolf * wolf = normal same as (-1) * (-1) = 1
