Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
Im not really sure how the druid class works here, if anyone can give me a link to where they are explained more in depth or just tell me i would appreciate it.
I see its listed under Arcane, so does that mean that the druids in Vanguard will have no heals, or maybe some heals but not worthy of being the main healer in a group, and are more leaning towards nukes, DoTs, debuffs, damage shields, and i think i saw something about the use of short term pets. So will the druid be a hybrid of a sort of Nature wizard and Magician ?(comparing these classes to EQ) im comparing these classes to EQ because that is what the traits most readily inherit, if i am wrong please correct me, so am i to assume that the druids will have a specific ability to transport people around at higher level? (or until a Planes of power type expansion is released )any answers or thoughts on the druid class would be nice. im considering a Vulmane Druid if that class/race is applicable

Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
seriously? no teleporting? wow, thats kinda nice, in a way and kinda not in another.... on one hand you wont have all the spamming and the expensive teleport rides, but then on the other hand if you need to get to a party fast and your on the other side of the planet... how do you get there?

Although they might one day have some kind of ports, they want to avoid the PoP style round the world in 8 seconds

Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
There are teleporters for ships to travel quickly between continents. There is a summoning spell that works on targets within the same dungeon. And there is a spell to return to bind point.
(All from officially released info, chill. )

Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
welll i can understand the PoP around the world in 8 seconds, thats for sure that it was way to easy to get around in old EQ, but in the game im playing now, sometimes we will have to wait nearly an hour for one person to arrive at our party... though thats mostly because when you get on a boat you have to wait bout 15 min for it to get there, then another 15 for the ship to arrive, then run to wherever it is you have to go... if ships are instant that cuts down alot of the time.

Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
Not instant. They said the portals were out at sea and meant to reduce the travel time from over an hour to something more manageable.
