Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
dang... i remember how happy i was when EQ reduced the boats from the long sea voyage to instant... it was kinda nice, seems i hated bugging druids for ports. i just hope they arent too bad, and i did read an article about horses that made me happy, they were saying that you get horses right at around lvl 8-10 and can upgrade from there, stricly for the purpose of not taking hours to get to a destination. sounds awsome to me! and you can equip mounts with armor! how awsome is that!

Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
Actually the main effect of barding right now is to reduce the chance of mobs being able to knock you off your mount. On the flip side it reduces your mounts movement speed. To counteract that loss of speed there are various levels of tack and horseshoes that further adjust your mounts speed. Pretty cool system really. We'll probably do a guide to mounts before long.

Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
This should help answer your questions about traveling.
As for druids, from what I can tell I think they are DPS more than anything, like someone said a "nature wizard". |

Re: Druid...a Wizard of Nature?
It seems the necro has an evac spell this time at level 10. I wonder if the druid still does.
It sounds like they might do the druid justice in this game. I was thinking of going necro but I might just have to bite the bullet and make a druid. ![]() |
