Speculation on things to come.
This isn't so much about Dreak Knights as it is the future of the game. But I'll steer it to DK's so it doesn't get moved to a section on the boards I don't participate in lol.
Where do you other Dread Knights see SoE steering the future of the game come the first expansion in regards to class enhancement, and what do you think they'll do with Dread Knights. Different MMO's have had things like Alternate Advancement in EQ, Talent Trees in WoW, etc. Do you think we'll see something like this in the first expansion or maybe they'll just raise the level cap to 55/60. I'm interested to see what route they'll go. On one side I liked EQ's AA's because you could "collect em all". But on the other side I liked the uniqueness of the WoW skill tree's. Personally I'm finding SoE is having too hard a time balancing the classes as they are let alone trying to balance class Talent Trees. |

First they need to fix the game bug and fix class issue. As for the next expension, they will prolly add the 2 class, Beserker and Inquisitor and add another 10 level to grind.
Add new stuff to crafting as usual and a new set of Islands to explore. Maybe the will add instence for Dungeon/Mission so they can manage Raid part a little easyer. They need to fix the strenght of some mob that are to easy as some class can solo 5-6 Dot mob, not a class issue its a problem of stat of the mob. I think they can redo the map system, its very poorly done, you cannot add notes to it. I disliked the AA system of eq 1, grinding for AA was very dull. Last expension of eq1 was giving option to buy AA that give you a tempory buff! That is not the direction i wish VG to go. WoW tree was ok, maybe not the best, but it give you 3 orientation's to select. As for now, i think they will more moving for a advancement of level, make it top level 60. For the Dread knight, well the addition to the Inquisitor may change the balance of the heavy fighter. We don't know how they gona be so... I think DK are a very good class as its right now. It need few tweek but nothing major. If they fix the DC issue, add another rescue abilitie and tweek the stance's so they are on par with other Tank, it we will be in pretty good shape. I see a change in the difficulty of dungeon, i find them a little to easy or maybe i was really lucky and get pug that rock! I really enjoy my Dread Knight, its so far the class i liked the most. I can control most situation in my group in regular pull. Will a good CC, its a charm to fight multiples mobs. I can pull most of the time single or 2 mobs at a time. I think the game need to give a little more challange, its still to close to easy mode. The change in exp amount you get screw up the time it take to get some long chain quest (ex. Wardship). Still the game is nice, once they remove the core bug i think it will be very nice. |

I want better mob ai, especially if we get more powerful with AA's or talent trees. One day I would hope to kill trash mobs that silence healers or root tanks, fear dps'ers, or scream for help when they see a bunch of adventurers strolling up to kill them. I also would like to see less quests and more random rare drops from named mobs in dungeons that take a good half day to clear to. Make getting good equipment more difficult.
