Invis. Change on Test and Shadowy Veil
Should our invis be useable in combat?
I think so for some obvious reasons that make it unlike any other invis in the game: It is only 60 second duration with an 80 second recast timer. We cannot stay permanently invised. It is instant cast. It has a speed boosting component. Was this our answer to feign death? I don't know but with the restrictions on this spell it certainly seems to me that it was meant to be an in combat ability. anyone else have any ideas opinions on this? |

I read a lot of complaints on Shadowy Veil.
While I wouldn't complain if it had an aggro whipe to it, it's not on my priority wish list of changes. I can already escape from most situations using it. Think about it, no you don't lose aggro to what's chasing you, but if you're deep in a cave or dungeon and have retreat through backspawns you get to avoid the aggro until they get triggered by social aggro. Using a stun/snare on a mob you need to run from usually gets you out of their attack range so you can slap on Shadowy Veil. Other than that I actually enjoy the timers on the ability. I like the feeling of desperation I feel when I run invis into a dungeon of red and purple 4dots and have to find cover because I see my invis only has 10 seconds left before I'm exposed. |

Having it drop aggro is a separate issue. It would definately be a powerful spell if that was implemented. It would also still be restricted by see-invis mobs so it wouldn't be over the top. |

ak k sorry, I should have included that the test server patch notes make a change so that invis spells are no longer castable in combat.
I also agree with you guys that the spell is great the way it fuctions now. This post was more to the effect that this invis spell alone should be exempt from this out of combat requirement that they are placing on all the invis spells as per the latest patch notes on test server. The limitations on this spell only really make sense if it is left as a in combat invis. All the other spells are instantly recastable and can be maintained without coming out of invis. |

I totally agree with this. If these changes are in with patch as it seems, then honestly we need a regular invis like everyone else and further THEY NEED TO ADD A GOD DAMN FD TO DREADS ALREADY. |

Maybe they could have spent 5 minutes fixing the Vulmane attribute coding rather than jerking around with stuff like this. |

the nerfage of Shadowy Veil is complete.
It is no longer castable in combat. Undead now see through it. More other types of mobs see through it now as well. I hope this ability gets a revisit/re tune as it's usefulness has been greatly marginalized by this patch. |

Well it's getting harder and harder to pay for a product and look on the bright side. If I'm not appeased soon you may as well call me Darth Jooma |
