At lvl 50 with epic weapon a warrior will not spam 20k crits show me some pictures please that would be a hella legndary crit .

And a lvl 50 with epic equipment is not the average warrior dude O_O.

and NO a warrior can not solo a 3 dot even con try it some time.

and i know for a fact a DK does not need foor for even con 3 dots.\\

I have two accounts and played beta I have a lvl 40 warrior and a lvl 38 druid and a lvl 32 bard and a lvl 30 cleric and had a lvl 40 warrior in beta hero. I do have a good bit of prospective on what all the classes can do.

I hope Dks get everything they want but untill you walk in a warriors shoes dont say they dont need the stuff they are getting because beleive u me they do need help.

You need to go back and read what people actually posted.

No one said that warriors were getting 20k crits.

What is happening is that warriors are getting around 20K COMBAT CHAINS, which is frigging nuts.

What is it about peole that play warriors that they have to make everything about them?

Who said anything about 20k crits? I said 20k chains. You do know what a chain is, don't you? Multiple finishers that trigger one after the other, forming a chain? Fraktal, the warrior in my guild with the aforementioned gear, can generate 20k chains. If this is roughly on par with dps classes, that is unbalanced.

Classes aren't balanced for level 10's with green weapons. Devs have to take into account the fact that some people actually make it past level 15 and get gear better than a blue. You can't laugh off imbalances within the game with a "level 50 with epic equipment is not the average warrior."

Guess what, people other than warriors are in heroic/legendary gear, and if warriors are able to throw out comparable damage to those dps classes, then I don't care if you played a fury warrior in WoW, that is called an unbalanced class.

a 20k chain really isnt that big then. I can do around 12-20 if i get some good hits in. Depends on how badly the mob is debuffed and if I have a pally cleric bard in the group or bear shaman buffs on top of that! If you got the right buffs we can do that too.

Wolf shaman also has a crit debuff makes you crit every hit for like 6 seconds... if you chain on that you can get crit wrack and ruins... up to 6k or so normal crit with greystone axe. so thats pretty close to 20k also.

Yes solo wewont hit that hard normal crit for me topping out at 4k... averaging 2k solo on wrack and ruin.

Orc DK using greystone axe .. I dont see how a warrior doing a 20k chain should even be brought up. They are suppossed to be the melee heavy fighter dps kings.

Warrior damage even though pretty decent, is not as high as people think.

Here is a SS of my offensive setup followed by screenshots of logs solo'ing a 3dot in Afrit. Total fight time was 35 seconds exactly.







Total DPS = 1142 (40k HP/35seconds)

Attacks total = 21

Crits = 6

Damage % caused by finishers(including Destroy) and KB = 83%

Damage % caused by Destroy(our 3rd chain) = 22.9%

No 20k finishing chains there. However this 3dot seemed to have a ton of buffs it would throw on itself towards the end of the fight... lol 1k decimate hit /yawn. If anyone knows where to find some "cooperative" 3dot mobs, that would be appreciated.

The "20k" chains came from Ferrum when he played my character for 30min with TWO bards, and a Psi, AND his own Tuurgin buffs. Yea thats a lethal combo. With all my personal buffs up, I was hitting 7k decimates with ease. And if obliterate crits thats easily 15k damage right there. But that group setup is so rare.

The tank classes in this game are so borked in terms of "Who are we?" that I dunno what to think. Should I have the damage I do? My answer right now is yes after seeing/hearing my healers say it was easier to keep a DK healed over me when tanking the Wavebreaker. Hell, the DK even stole aggro from me and I let him tank. So why shouldn't I be able to go to the mobs backside and put out damage numbers comparable to DPS classes?

When I become more of an EFFICIENT tank, then you can take away my DPS. When my healers don't comment on how easy it is to keep another tank up (pals and DKs) then you can take away my DPS.

Until then I will gladly take a DPS spot in a raid and not even care if I drown out rogues and rangers.

Can I take hits and hold aggro? Yes (I just cant take my racial for granted like I did fighting the Wavebreakers). But it all comes down to efficiency.

Ok I just read this whole thread and I need to post again.

Warriors having a heal = bad

Warriors having some form of HP regen = Good; HOWEVER

First mitigation needs to be looked into (from Venge it is already). Second all tanks need to have equal mitigation potential. aka, buffs need to be equal. How we raise our MIT might be a tad different, but as we all know from EQ2 higher MIT = better raid tank.

Right now almost every tank class can hit the MIT cap. Once they nerf MIT, they will need to probably nerf Warders Bulwark a tad. 20% that I can MAINTAIN ontop of my 15% from D-stance is overboard, especially when the whole problem is the ease of getting to the cap!!

(The MIT cap needs to be raised as well to like 75%, but anyway)

For those against the warrior regen, ask yourself this:

If my MIT is the same as your MIT (which will likely be the case soon) what will us warriors have that will counter your lifetaps or a Paladins heals? Yea I know a paladin will never use Healing Touch on himself in a raid, but you get the idea.

Our Stuns make a little difference, but in a raid... yea lol. Stuns will mean nothing.

Anyway, I cannot wait for the MIT changes to come about. Then I will actually care about upgrading my yellow/blue 40-45 armor :P
