I don't think we need or should get an auto crit ability. That would just have us using it with Harrow all the time for full hp returns. Then they'd nerf Harrow and we'd be more like a Warrior than a Dread Knight.

I personally just want to see a clear direction on our class.

Warriors = Combat Tanks and it shows.

Pally's = Heal/Buff Tanks and it shows.

Dreads should = Crippling/Debuffing tanks and it doesn't really show like it should.

So I want

1) Much more powerful Devour Strength. Have it drain STR, DEX & CON.

2) Much more powerful Devour Mind. Have it drain VIT, INT & WIS.

3) Add Mana destruction to our energy based spells. Doesn't have to be a drain, just Mana Burn. IE: Instead of Black wind dealing X damage to all mobs, how about Deals X Damage and Burns X Mana to all mobs? Same thing with WoD (tweaked down for PvP though).

4) Improved symbols. I haven't used Symbol of Suffering since I got Despair and the only time I use Wrath over Despair is when I'm not getting hit by mobs. Despair is an awesome symbol, but the other 2 need to be tweaked more. Suffering can have a mana burn aspect to it and Wraith could have fun vampyric touch type of effect returning the damage bonus of wraith to us in hp.

5) Ravaging Darkness. Anything past RD I is pointless because we don't have the endurance costs to use up what were draining from RD1. So draining more END in the same time frame for RDII and RDIII is completely pointless. My solution to that is leave RDI at X END for 8 seconds, but have RDII do X END for 10 secs, RDIII for 12 secs, etc.

6) Add a DoT or something fun to Frighten. It doesn't last long enough to be useful CC especially with it's crazy random direction running aspect. Not really a risk vs reward spell. That can be used anywhere but an open area. Even snaring the mob sometimes has them going all the way back to their camp and grabbing more mobs.

7) Is our ward working properly? It reads that it blocks 25% damage for X attacks or 60 seconds. I'm 38 now and I really don't think it's working properly.

8) I saw it mentioned earlier. DC shouldn't drop to 0 as soon as kill our target dies. Should drop slowly as were out of combat.

1. FD doesn't seem out of order especially now that Shadow Veil is nerfed. Also warriors have withdraw which wipes 95% of agro according to Venge. Let FD fail 5% or scale it to Int (yikes!).

2. Scale symbols, at this time I only use symbol of despair; also, perhaps we can choose one symbol to be castable on others within 5 levels.

3. I really liked Warakus' idea of a caster stance to mitigate spell damage and to throw a bone to Int DK's (I am a short Half Giant).

4. It may be just me but slay seems lame now, make it auto crit and double the time on shield of fear?

5. Put cooldowns on seperate times and reduce the lengths, anything over 30 minutes is absurd.

I just wanted to add this is an excellent thread guys, I learn a lot from reading these boards.
