Cull II message

Sorry if this has been posted already (I did a search and didn't turn up anything)...

I tried to get Cull II over the last week. Prior to the last patch, I was getting the message that I was learning Cull II. Since the patch, I stopped getting that message. I thought perhaps I just wasn't learning the spell or that I was having an unlucky streak to my learning process. Well, my static I run with and I were in Greystone doing the weapon quest and we decided to try again. We killed abour 20 risen mobs with no update. Meanwhile, my shaman friend learned his and was getting the message.

He and I got talking and he asked me the dumbest question (I thought at the time) I had ever heard. Did I perhaps get the spell, but missed the message? Lo and behold, I look in my book and there it was. But I NEVER received the message that I had gotten the spell.

Anyone else have this problem?

Where exactly are the mobs in that tower? i invised way down there and couldnt find the mobs for it. Are they really deep down or what?

you probably just missed the message in the battle spam.

and no, it's not that far down. when you're in the room with the 2 main quest mobs, you go down the stairs. then you go into the main room and head left into the area with rippers and other ghoul type mobs. the risens are in the jail cells in that area.

I got cull I from TK mobs. Where do you get cull II, please?

Same thing happened to me with Cull I. I had had a couple of "learning" messages in TK while working on some of the TK quests. We evac'ed out. A few days later (and after a patch) I went back to try and finish off learning Cull and didn't get a single update after killing about half a dozen deathdealers (very slowly). Maybe they flew past in one of my chatboxes, I can't really say. But there definitely weren't any on-screen updates that I was getting before.

On a hunch I checked my spellbook and sure enough it was already in there.

I got my cull 1 this weekend, i have seen at least 5-6 messages or learning and the final message that i have learned. Maybe you miss the message because the color of the final message (as previous one of learning) is a pale blue, you really have to pay attention or you will didn't see it. Maybe if the put the message in bright yellow with ding kind of sound it will be more obvious.
