Shield of fear bugged?

Is this skill bugged, or does it just block damage seperately from mit/block/parry?

I checked my block percentage with this on, and with it off at various DC levels - and it didn't change.

Wish they'd make evasion mods on armor work for us too... 6% evasion greatsword is kinda crap if it doesn't do anything.

Actually, I seem to have found my own answer - and I don't like it.

"Shield of Fear has no effect on Garnox because they are too low level. They must be at least level 36."

....Its a level 26 spell.

I will second that this is occurring for me as well at L33. It spams my combat channel ever 2 seconds or so.

Same here at 34, and I see no change on my tooltip on my defense skill that says that I'm getting an benefit from the buff, although it does show up in my buffs window. As far as I can tell Shield of Fear does absolutely nothing for me now.

I am having the same issue. Anytime I try to use Shield of Fear I get combat spam telling me I must be 36 for it to affect me. I submitted a bug report, and was actually coming here to see if anyone else was having the problem. ;}

I'm pretty sure it does, as the higher level DK's on this board are pretty astute about that sort of thing and none of them have mentioned it.

When I was 32 or whatever (i think that was when I got sofI, no idea) I am pretty sure it worked then, but that was quite a while ago.

At 50 I am sure it works, although while wearing a shield it seems quite meh, with a two hander you can easily get up to 20-30% block so you can have your dps retaliation spam.

I assumed you wouldn't need a shield to get the bonus from this. Thats the way the extra block from our third stance works, anyways. I just checked, and its doing the same at 28.

I won't be 36 for a long long time, oh well. I got finals coming up soon, and I plan on raising armorsmithing up to about 40 soon (32 atm), so its gonna be a few weeks.
