Dreadknight Forms, a Level 50 Perspective
Ebon Blade:
Increases your per-hit damage by 10-15%, but you can use your melee abilities 5% less. This was a decent stance when the increased END cost was broken. Now, this will be giving us something like a 6-12% damage increase, which is not that good. Shadowmeld: Now: Increases accuracy by 5-10%, block and parry by 1-6% Previously: Increases accuracy, dodge, parry, and evasion by 5-10% Since this stance didn't do anything at all previously, I'm glad they finally fixed it. However, I don't see anyone using it with these new stats anyway. Armor Of Darkness: I'm glad that they fixed your damage decreasing as you increased DC, which was never supposed to happen. However, the mitigation and hate gain are still not being applied correctly. Can we please get someone to look at these stances, not only the bugs, which are well documented, but their overall effectiveness, which seems to be quite subpar compared to many of the other classes? |

I believe Xaices mentioned in the "Sigil and Avair - Skill Change Request" thread that forms are being adjusted. Shadow Meld is getting a bonus to DC progression and some resists, and AoD is having the 10% lowered damage removed. Honestly, if those changes go through I can't think of any reason that DK's would use anything but AoD unless the DC bonus on Shadow Meld is absolutely insane.
I am a little annoyed about the last patch though. We went from having at least one decent stance to having none. They need to wait until things are done to shove them out the door. Half-finished stances are worthless. |

Quote:
Am I saying we don't have the worst stances out of the three Defensive Fighters? No. We do have the worst stances. Should we exaggerate about this? No.
