Screwed up Animations

Anyone else notice when we wrack/ruin we just throw our hands up in the air? It looks stupid as hell, we dont even swing our sword.

Oh wouldn't it be cool if ebon blade was the same as /dance.. I could just see that popping off every few seconds. I think we would be kicked out of groups. Even our static ones

problem with that is it seems to wipe the natural glowy effect of my Ageless Axe, so when gnarly dark fiery axe of doom thing wears off my axe lost it's own glow

Yeah the DC apply animation drives me nuts, it bugs the hell out of me when it happens when I start a wrack/ruin chain, I sometimes think wrack never went off cause I do the apply animation instead of the attack.

i absolutely agree, we do not need an animation for DC level increases, especially if it overwrites our normal combat animations.

it really does throw off my rhythm in combat, and i have to rely on the damage numbers graphics to tell if i actually hit or not. This is certainly doable, but i don't have that visual satisfaction of a big ol' axe swing.....

in short, maybe we can get Xacies to let the devs know this is a less than desireable change....a "bells and whistles" animation that makes basic combat functions less intuitive is not a good thing.

I can't agree more. In my time of leveling I actually look for the animation and have a visual memory of when the GCD is done to pop the ruin after a wrack...With this animation that makes me look like I am on a toilet having issues it is throwing off my timing.
