It wasn't close to the previously "normal rate" of durability loss yesterday when I played.
I did take twice the durability hit yesterday vs thursday in the same amount of time, but who knows what the modifiers are now. I wasn't fighting the same mobs so it's hard to say if it was tweaked at all. It was still 10 times better than it was before the fix so I have no problem with where armor decay is now. |

I was in Graystone same as I have been for the last week, fighting all the same mobs I had been.
I have to say I'm still pretty upset by this. The 75silver repair bills were rediclous but not as rediculous as having to leave your group three times in the same day to go repair while the others in your group repaired only once at the end of the day and were mostly in the 70-80% range. This is getting old fast. I would have rather them upped the cost and left the decay rate the way it was after the first "fix". Nothing more aggravating than you and your sorcerer having to drop group and evac so you can go repair while the rest sit at the bottom of the dungeon you just cleared your way to praying you make it back before respawn. Friggen retarded...

I noticed it increased since the big decrease, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it used to be. Still makes me sigh though. And I agree, I was ok with the cost of repairs, it's the frequency that's utter BS.

I'm glad someone agrees with me here.
I don't complain much but this repair crap is slowly but steadily pissing me off. going to copy paste my Saturday expierience here.. it was Grand. P.S. this is in response to a post on a different board about this topic. Can this honestly be what is intended? I can't agree that 4-5 hours is good. Heres how saturday went for me. Repaired full from night before 30silver. not bad. Crawled to bottom of graystone realised I was getting my butt kicked all of a sudden so I checked my gear. BP and legs both 0%, Graystone greataxe 18%. Most of the rest of my main gear in the mid 20's. We clear a nice little corner and then the sorcerer and myself drop group and evac so that I can go repair my gear while the rest of the group waits and hopes there is no respawn. We get back, CoH in keep fighting for about another 4 hours and bam, same thing my gear is already broke, yet again. I was really hoping the first time was a bug. This time we just all evac out and I go off to repair at the little outpost. 35silver this time.. I can live with that.. I guess. We pick up all those now grey quests from inside the little outpost and proceed to murder the greybies needed to complete them. Wrapped up all those quests in about 2.5 hours. I'm now at roughly 40% durability yet again. We all finsih turning in the quests and repair. cost me 14silver this time. Wife repaired as well as the others in my static group for the first time allday. She is a cleric and was mostly at 80% on her items same with rest of the group, mostly in the mid to high 80's. Cost her 4silver to repair and roughly the same for the rest of my group. So I ask you how it can "seem about right" that I should have to repair 3 times in one day of XP at a cost of 79silver while the rest of my group repaired 1 time in roughly 11 hours for 4 silver? Having the tanks take these rediculous durability hits is a horribly flawed idea. After reaching the bottom of a dungeon where you spent about 3+ hours clearing you should never have to make a choice to either switch to your crap gear or go repair. MMO's have always been very Item based games. people love thier shiny's. Having to put on crap gear or go repair every 4-5 hours is moronic.
