re-read this post when you hit level 25 I think, is when you get DC3, which is your 1st truly powerful level of DC.
DC is THE best debuff in the game. No questions about it. DC5 is unreal, albeit it is not easy to get to it in regular combat, unless you use your class skill of course. But in any raid... DC is what guarantees at least 1 DRK a spot. |

it debuffs a mob by a lot, and alot of your skills and stances are based off it, making it better as you gain DC.
Check out the DC listing in this guide: http://vanguardfighters.com/phpnuke/...ic&p=9162#9162

DC is going to become your's and your groups best friend down the road such as raids or pve bosses DC5 increases your damage decreases their armor makes them weak to spirit damage and more... so you have stuff there for shaman's, offensive melee fighters, casters and ofcorse us the tank's and also will help with healers cause if the mobs try to go after them they're really weakend down so you can pull aggro off very easy 8)
in otherwords if you're fighting a high level/high dot mob focus on getting your DC high up before anything else and your group will roll the mob |

OK thats was some great stuff.. Im currently lvl 35 and im pushing 2300 Ac unbuffed with no shiled. I can solo lvl 40 2 dots with ease at the moment.
. Dreadful Countenance This is a listing of the Dreadknight's Dreadful Countenance Debuff. These are the debuffs applied to the mob (i.e., Incoming Critical improves the chance to score a crit on the mob that has the debuff) Dreadful Countenance I: Rising Dread Incoming Critcal: +5% Resistances: Reduced Dreadful Countenance II: Wave of Despair Incoming Critcal: +7% Resistances: Reduced Incoming Spiritual Damage: +5% Dreadful Countenance III: Fell Aura Incoming Critcal: +9% Resistances: Reduced Incoming Spiritual Damage: +10% Damage: -5% Dreadful Countenance IV: Hopelessness Incoming Critcal: +11% Resistances: Reduced Incoming Spiritual Damage: +15% Damage: -7% Dreadful Countenance V: Dread Tide Incoming Critcal: +13% Resistances: Reduced Incoming Spiritual Damage: +20% Damage: -10% Dread Knight Damage: +15% Is there some sort of a timer on the DC's? like if i get dc3 and i have to goto def mode and pull agro from othere will dc3 run out before i hit dc4? I see a icon pop sometimes like a buff. Its a green skull and it sill say inccomming crit chance 9% but then it goes away. |

the DC buff only works on one person at a time (till i think DC5) but say you get DC4 or 3 on a monster then have to swap targets to say something else that's killing your healer that other thing will keep your DC debuff till it's dead but you only get the benefits if you're attacking it

All mobs with DC ticked up on them get penalized by it though right?
Just curious if it is worth pushing the ticker up on all the mobs you are facing?

aslong as you put the DC debuff up on them they will hold it for anyone who tries to hit them which is why in big groups if you're outnumered should focus on getting your debuff on everyone then focus on damage dealing/holding aggro atleast it's what i do unless we got two psi's in the group
