Conjuration ???
Whats with conjuration. I cast all my spells that require it and it almost NEVER goes up. Level 40 with a sad 133 Conjuration.
Spent around 3 hours today trying to get it higher a got a whopping 7 points ! A bug you would think would be easy to fix, but why is it still this way? |

Blackfaith you realize people have spent hours just trying to up it 1 point? its nice that you are at max level somehow, grats on that. Just dont fluff your e-peen in my direction while telling me to L2P.
Its also supposed to go up on resists (the sorcerer lead tells me) but its broken. |

I'd recommend snaring once or twice every fight while soloing, just for the s*** and giggle of it. If it still doesn't ever go up, then I'd say try snare-kiting the occasional mob for a few minutes, even if it's a low-level one so your spells actually land.
Worth a shot. That's how I keep mine up-ish (140 at level 17.5)... I'm not sure if it's recoverable when you're at 133 and level 40, though. I think skillups are based on the level of the mob compared to your level, so if it's fallen that far behind... *wince* Good luck with it. I'm just glad I wasn't levelling when Conjuration was bugged and NEVER rose. ![]() |

Over the last level I've been using Dark Ward every time I notice it's up and snaring mobs close the end of each fight. I raised my CON a crap load and every fight I get atleast 1 or 2 points in it. My snares are now landing a lot more often and it's become a great source of CC.
Last night I was killing 4 dots with a guildie (blood mage) to help him get some exp. He was 6 levels lower than me and couldn't land much on the mobs so for CC I would SV up to a set of two mobs, Mez one and pull the other. When my mez broke I'd Snare/Fear and repeat everytime he came back. Still had lots of mana at the end of the fights even with me being the only real DPS against the mobs and the fights lasting way too long. (Prolly should have focused on 3 dots looking back now). |

Mine is maxed and has been maxed for the last 10 levels, but I started working on it a lot earlier than other people. When I was pretty far behind at one point I spent a lot of time grinding missives that had me killing lower level mobs so I at least saw something for the lower experience and trouble.
Dark Ward, Dark Ward, Dark Ward. No matter what you are doing make sure it's recast every 60 seconds. I always use Snare as my first pull spell whether solo or in a group just to keep on top of it. It's going to be slow there is no good way to change that. It takes me an average 1/3-1/2 of a level to get it maxed after I level up and one level it took me the entire level to get it up only 9 of the 10 points. So even if you use snare and dark ward ALL the time you aren't going to gain a lot of ground per level. You aren't going to casually raise it up. It's like that for all the classes. At least we have dark ward for out of combat options. Not every class has that. My ranger partner has been working as hard as I have to raise his conjuration and he is like 15 levels behind still. |

i had the very same problem with my conjuration. as i always forgot to cast dark ward, i had like 60/350 conj.
now i macroed dark ward with my main attack styles and so i am spamming dark ward always when its available. this way i made lot of conj points. think thats the best way for guys like me who are too dumb or lazy to cast dark ward in really every fight. ![]() my main macro is: /cast "Slay" /cast "Dark Ward" /reactionautocounter /cast "Malice" /cast "Vexing Strike" works quite good for me so far and solves the nasty low conj problem.
