What is your mitigation?

I just wanted to find out how high people are reaching and if they are stacking ceartain gear.

I've been able to obtain roughly 43-45% mitigation total (in a group, though it doesnt fluctuate more than 3-5%) @ lvl 31

I'm spec fully into str then dex then int. My gear WAS up until recent patch, insane STR/dex wise.

I am interested in the level of mitigation people are seeing. You can post your mitigation when you are solo if you want.. but it doesnt matter honestly.

Kinda worthless to post information with the note 'in a full group' because buffs can completely change it. And group formation A cannot be compared to group formation B.

I could have 6000 defense and you could have 6000 defense and have totally different values of the many components that make up that number.

Which is why I posted the total mitigation.

total mitigation is AC/evasion/block etc

So yes the defense number COULD mean different things, but mitigation is mitigation.

Also when speaking of groups, I only brought that up because my mitigation really does not fluctuate that much even with different group make ups. I'm not really too worried about my total mitigation when soloing. :lol:

The best way to judge any stat a player may have is to post Unbuffed numbers

Do you hover over your Defense trait or your AC trait to get your final mitigation number?

Also, wouldn't including a level be important too?

level 42 DK. I have had up to 85% with the crit line self buff dark bastion.

hover over defense to find it.

@ Warakus: thats pretty nice, whats the quality of your gear?

From what I understand you add up both defense and ac because they stack. I could be wrong but thats my understanding of your mitigation.

Bastion with max DC adds alot of AC. Also the more ac you get the more defense you get. I am normally around 60-65% without dark bastion... after that it goes way up depending on buffs. I hardly ever use def stance since aggro>mitigation at this point and its alot easier to keep aggro doing more damage. In off stance I have probably about 39-50% mit depending on buffs.

My gear is mixed yellow and blues.... the only red I have is that axe Im still using from level 28. I think I might have 4 yellow peices of armor.

Where have you heard that you add the mitigation in your AC along together with your defensive tooltip? Never heard of that before.

Not saying you're wrong, but I just never heard of that before and was wondering what logic your basing this off of?

But yeah, Dark Bastion is awesome. Throw Child of Haelifur buff on top of that, and you're looking at some sick mitigation.
