every1 is so busy looking for lines starting with DREADKNIGHT, that they missed the very 1st line of adventuring dialog...
- Protective Fighters – Rescues are now usable out of combat. that was a major annoyance to me as a tank that I had to attack the mob before using rescue. |

I notice a change in mitigation, but it is less than the 10% the ability advertises. I saw something like a 9.2% increase. Not sure where the disparity comes from. For that matter, can anyone explain why my Melee mitigation shown on my AC tooltip and my Defense tooltip are different? My AC tooltip shows around 20% mitigation, but my Defense tooltip only lists 16-17%.

Overall the patch was very positive. My group got some much needed DPS thanks to the rogue changes and my healers said they noticed a huge difference in my mitigation and aggro control.
Personally I think the fix to AoD was a definate fix and a much appreciated one. Only thing I didn't like about this fix was the missing return of the promised SoD revert and the Quest Exp is absolutely rediculous. From 0 exp in my level I did a quick river valley quest while waiting for my group to come online, then we did all of the evil side quests in the Pantheon and I dinged 28. Took all of an hour I think. |

I haven't tested the hate generation from AoD......
Having grouped two days in a row with the same people killing the same mobs. Their appeared to be a comfortable difference in aggro control. However, I also leveled early on in the night so my level vs the mobs changed and my level vs the ranger, who is the only real aggro risk usually, changed until he also leveled. So, can't really be certain without testing. Too much involved to "feel" like it's working. AoD did not add a full 10% mitigation to my defensive tooltip either. And while on the subject of mitigation......why is physical resistance which lists melee mitigation not effecting the defensive tool tip. I picked up a bracer with 16 physical resistance which raised the listed melee mitigation by 1.6% in the physical resistance area....but that wasn't reflected in the defensive tooltip. |

Ok heres the deal, the 30% increase in Hate Per attack could not have been working the reason I know this is because when I level my Cleric (level 11) with my then level 21 Dreadknight in defensive stance there were times the cleric would get an add so I figured since the cleric was on the initial mob the DK could easily take the add and continue to help with the initail mob. Well I would hit the mob numerous times and not pull agro off the cleric with regular hits and these were level 14 to 16 mobs so if the DK in defensive stance is doing 30% hate per hit he should have easily been able to pull agro off a mob with one or 2 hits correct ? He could not and I know for a fact the DK didnt miss but maybe 10% of the time. So the 30% hate is not working from my experiences.
Now on the other hand I ran a little test with a warrior friend of mine / After I cycled through all my hate inducing skills and spells at least twice I had the Warrior join in the fight and NOT use any rescues as a matter of fact he didnt even use any attacks he just turned on auto attack and he pulled agro from me . Sure he is level 25 and im 22 but obviously his agro per hit is working . maybe working a little bit too well in my estimation. So he could pull from me but I could not pull from a level 11 cleric with my regular hits ? |

AoD is not giving a full 10%. It is like someone said earlier 9.X%. I am not sure the Hate component is working either, as I could still pull aggro better in offensive form last night than defensive. I need to go back and check tooltips for changes.
Judas: Are you talking about auto-attack hits? Those do not generate any hate but the base damage. Best thing to do with adds like that is to stick a torture on them. Lynxal: Physical Resistance (or Absorption) is actually spell resistance to poison and disease based spells.
