- Dread Knight – Increased the aggro modifiers of your special attacks. They are now similar to the other tanks.
.. which is nice and all, but *cough* that does not address our defensive form or the lack thereof.

I am so tempted to just say screw VG and move back to eq2 and wait for the next mmo to fly onto the scene. |

You guys are way too dramatic.
I am lvl 16, I just finished grouping with 3 Bards and a Monk. Levels, 18,17,17,16. I was 15 at the time, I levelled right before server went down. We grouped for over an hour against lvl 18-20 3-dots. If at any time I needed aggro to stay on me, I made it happen. If it didn't matter I would just be mindlessly smashing things with my weapon, and I would steal aggro from the offensive fighters without using my aggro abilities. I was dealing damage almost par with the damage they were dealing. Seriously...if they throw you a curveball, learn to adapt. Stop bit$#ing about every friggin thing, and as they would say on WoW forums. L2P. -Cev

To be honest, I don't think those offensive fighters were going all out in the above scenario.
But anyways, the patch that increased our 'aggro modifiers'.. Our skills that added hate were not increased at all, if very little; does this mean or skills that just do damage have an extra hate component? I've seem to have a bit more better aggro control, but there's many factors in that that could be from outside of a patch. |

Labrat is going a bit overboard, but in all fairness there are issues with us. One of them was our hate generation.
You realize that the melee were probably not going all out, using proper skills and the monk was probably transferring hate to you on an active basis (which every good monk does). There is no way a level 15 DRK will hold aggro over all those classes if they are really putting out the DPS they want. I was 15 in a group with a monk and bard who were 16. If they wanted me to keep aggro, I could. But 99% of the time if the monk wanted aggro he got it. I was constantly rescuing him and the bard so that the healer would have a second or two extra to get a heal on them. I have adapted, but the fact remains I shouldn't have to adapt. The defensive form is a NECESSARY part of our class. It DEFINES us -- defensive fighter. It should not be broken.

in a weird masochistic way i want them to not fix our defensive form for a few more weeks. There is a lot of kiddieboy DRK around, who want to smash things and think it is easy class to play. I want to weed suckers out, and than enjoy a unique class. Amin to that, I think I might be wanting too much
