INCITE LINE IS A FINISHER?!?! WTF!
are they nucking futs?!?
I was honestly expecting Incite to be a straight up push button taunt ability at the cost of whatever.... now it turns out that I have to chose between Wrack and Insight... well, whats the god damn difference? Wrack does 250 dmg or so AND has a chance to crit for 300-400, when Incite does 100dmg and 150 hate making it 250 hate.... What is it with Sigil and giving parallel abilities. |

75% of the time I am having both pop at the same time, forcing me to choose between them. The other 25% of the time only Wrack is popping. Could this be intended? IE I perceive a chance to hit with Wrack where I didn't perceive a chance to hit with Incite?

I understand the longer CD. However, when some abilities are on CD and they become active again (before the cool down), they do pop up. For instance, Vengence when it pops up, whether it is on cool down or not, is lit. You just cannot access it.
So if it were true that Incite was on a longer CD, it should still light up when it is perceived as an attack combo. Since it does not light up, this leads me to believe that they are actually kept on separate counters or separate perception tables. Also, I have had Wrack pop up by itself in a fight where I have not used Incite at all. ./shrug I dunno what the deal is, but I have noticed this phenomena. **Edited for clarity |

Wrack and Incite are very different in damage.
Incite is straight damage, while Wrack is % based on weapon. So using a 1H + shield? Incite may do more. Using a 2H, Wrack should always do more. The hate increase on Incite is huge...and it's fine that it's a finisher. HOWEVER...I slam things around in DC3, and I am supposed to have a 9% increased crit chance. Yeah...uhh...I don't think so. Once they fix it so we actually do have higher crit rates, then it will be great. -Cev
