No offence, but it isn't what you consider. It is what the devs consider, and it is up to us to show them otherwise.

I think you all have me wrong. I do think the DK needs more aggro holding abilities, I just do not believe it should be through DPS alone. It is true we need more DPS, but aggro for us should also come more in the form of improved taunts, etc.

Anyway, back on topic. Buff us please!

DRKs were never kings of DPS of the defensive fighters until they reached DC5. A DC5 DRK was probably the most powerful of all defensive fighters, which is why they made it semi-hard to get to that point.

the entire time I was in beta the DK was and still is inferior in tuant (one stinking taunt that is a lame excuse of a taunt on top of that) no exsistant buffs/debuffs, seriously underpowered and often resisted rescues, and weak VERY weak DPS.


The class and its skills are purely DPS in nature, all of them are DPS in nature and they have effectively removed the DPS which has killed our hate generation.

Tested the new supposed to have more hate associated with our skills this patch and guess what nothing has changed. I honestly am starting to think they really have no clue how to one create a tanking class and that includes all their tanking classes and how to honestly and correctly fix something without meddling in it once they do fix it.

Sad it else where they made a DPS tank in DK and now they need to give the DPS to the tank to maintain or gain agro. A same lvl warrior that starts the encounter and knows what they are doing will maintain agro no matter how much you try to pull agro from them (at lvl 15 for reference).

An even level Warrior has never been able to steal aggro from me if I started with it.
I never have much of an issue stealing aggro from an even-level warrior if he started with it.

However,

If we can get Malice back to a reasonable CD, and take torture off the melee global cooldown spot...then I will be happy.

Aside from that, as I've said many times...the good tanks will be good even with these disadvantages. Adapt and roll with it. If you find yourself lacking in comparison to another tnak...and you come here and find solace in the fact that others do too...take offense to this: I have no troubles with anything you guys complain about. So maybe it's not JUST the class that needs to improve. The class DOES, but the player DOES as well.

Exactly. Going back on topic, it isn't that bad. If your group is good and listens, you should have no trouble.
