No one wants to be surrounded by negativity and if that's all they find here then the duty of reading these boards would surely start sliding down the priority list. But if we all try to post our constructive positive thoughts then it's easy for them to say, hmmm I wonder what the general oppinions on the Dread Knights ability_053 is, or even better; "Dread Knights could use a new original ablity, I think I'll head over to VG Fighters, those guys always have creative ideas for implementation". Before you flame me please take a moment and reflect on this for a minute. You may find some vadility in what I've said. |

It's been mentioned a couple of times in other posts, just wanted to bring it here for Xacies/Devs.
Durability Loss for Tanks. Unacceptable. Period. I end every night at 0% durability on everything, even my backup weapons. Sometimes I'll go through 3 swords. 10-15 silver repair bills.. every night.. This only occurs while grouping. Soloing it is only about a quarter as bad.

I proposed a solution on warrior forums, something like adding a durability reduction coefficient to every class. Clothies would have a larger reduction per hit, while plate classes would have it significantly lower per hit. It is only logical that plate armor is many times more durable than cloth armor, per same 100% durability.

Right now, does anyone but tanks lose durability during grouping?
If they are not getting hit or doing physical damage I doubt my blood-mage is taking much durability loss. I could see maybe a bard losing durability on their weapons, but seriously I doubt there is much armor deterioration. You solution sounds promising, and I'm hoping something like that occurs. However, I think they need to tune down the durability loss overall as well. I should have to repair maybe once every 8-10 hours of game time. Not every 2 hours, which is pretty much how it exists now. Some of this stuff didn't exist (or got fixed) in beta.. it makes me wonder why they screwed it all up again.

Believe me I feel the pain I have gained a few heroic level 21 + items over the past few days and when they break ,,, ouch I pay out over a silver an item.. I do not even have a gold to my name.
I will re-engage, be adviased my contact at Sigil is Avair of which he does not work on item durability, though he will pass word on. along the same lines, Avair plays a Dread Knight.. He does want to fix all the broke things as it is not only effecting the community it is effecting his play as well. I realy think they are undermanned on Class Developers.

Your group has established......
I would love to get a change to the way a mob is flagged as engaged by a person or group. If I am pulling I am always going to min/max the casting times so: Cast Abyssal chains.....it lands, not my mob. Cast Devour.....it lands, not my mob. Cast Torture....it lands, not my mob. Some random person runs by and shoots it with an arrow....their mob. You don't establish control of a mob until you do like 100 dmg or something. So the second tick of torture establishes control but until that happens or until my first hit after torture lands the mob is open for someone to steal it. I am obviously engaged with the mob, the mob has an effect on it and it's charging me, what is game breaking about that establishing control for you or your group? |

I have had a couple of issues that i dont believe ive seen mentioned here... Ive /bugged them in game, and figured they may be of use here.
One only affects people playing Orc / DK, specifically i was wondering if there was a reason as to why the racial Fury of Ghalnn doesnt work with Word of Doom.. worked in beta, and nothings been changed in the tooltip to suggest otherwise... Pretty sure it should heal for 1/2 the dmg with the racial on... anyone hear anything about that? Second, and this one i may have just missed at some point, is about dueling... Does anyone know if we arent intended to use fear in a duel? as it currently does nothing... Change comming, or are the fears / charms of the world just not intended for dueling. First post, wasnt really sure where else to ask :roll: |
