INT vs VIT
in regards to the new stat allocation and attributes actions, there seems to be a new big question floating around out there as if INT (modifies the hell out of a majority of DK spells and abilities) or VIT (endurance and energy Regen in combat) will be more essential high end for the dread knight.
obviously little to nothing is known about high end content but based on what we do know lets get a discussion going on the positives and negatives out there for people that are pondering the question |

I'm thinking INT/WIS over VIT at the moment. VIT is like CON, doesn't give enough benefit. Not only does the INT/WIS combo give you better magical damage and ability to push through resists, but it allows you to notice tactics in combat which if you read your abilities you will notice do special things like increase damage.
With Devour Strength and Devour Mind however we have +110 to STR/VIT and +96 to INT/WIS at level 50. Anyone know how you can get those redemption points in your stats? I want to rebuild the default that they give you on the betabuffed 30 character. They put almost nothing in DEX and everything in CON.

I do believe that int/wis will be more beneficial. but all our charts and discussion is bare points. No armor or weapons with stats...those by them selves can change your lowest stat to the strongest with the right equipment...so to me, boost what you want to help you. But like always the gear will define who gets pwnd in end game and who does the pwning.
Much love Raven

Vitality does *not* increase your endurance regen.
If it did, then I would be pouring points into it. It doesn't. Only affects HP and energy. That is: Health and mana. Please don't let this misconception run rampant through the forums. However, if you're thinking of putting 100 pts into CON...you might want to think about tossing them into Vit instead...100HP + 6 resists vs 100% in-combat HP regen. hmmm -Eclipse

Vit gives % based hp regen, and x.xx energy / sec based regen, so we will have to see how hp regen works naturally ooc, but the energy regen seems to be pretty substantial.
I have a feeling vit may be needed for the later levels if we wish to constantly cast spells, but I am probably going to focus on INT. The reason I am choosing INT is because of clerics. I figure while leveling up, there will probably be some VIT/WIS plate for clerics/paladins, so I can grab a couple of pieces. only level 20 atm though. not counting the countless free level 35's and 30's ![]() |
