Scourge
I'm stupid, but I was grouped today with my DK and noticed that my rescue did not once activate. I asked the Sorcerer I was grouped with to take aggro from me if she could...and she did. However, my rescue never once worked.
What is the required action to have Scourge activate? I thought it was merely: "Your defensive target taking aggro"...but obviously I'm one plank short of a ship, because I couldn't get it to work! Hehe thanks, ~Cevantez Kaervek, Orc Dreadnought and Scion of The Seraphim

The shitty thing about rescues as they stand right now is you must have the person you want to rescue targeted as your "defensive" target AND the offending mob to be taunted must be your "offensive" target, as well as being in range. It can make getting the right mob taunted a bit difficult. The way I tend to change it up is to bind Shadow Step to my Rescue keys so that I guarantee I am meeting the range requirements.
There is no special trigger associated with Scourge, it is always available, however it will not work unless all three of the above criteria are met. Any one of those being off will cause it to fail completely but will still activate it as if it was doing something. I am still wondering what will be the best way to do it if there are multiple mobs around. If it is just one mob then it is easy, because the offensive target is going to be right by default, and all you need to do is target the person losing HP and then hit it. If there are multiples around and the one you are fighting is not the one hitting the over zealous teammate, then it can be hard to pick out the bad guy with all the confusion. I am hoping there is a change to the system and they make it to wear the offensive target doesn't matter. I personally think "Rescuing" my defensive target is enough, without the added confusion of targeting the wrong creature offensively.

Do you need to be in Defensive Stance?
This is my last "what did I do wrong"...because: a) I had the correct D target; b) I had the correct O Target; and c) I was definitely in range...I'm assuming 3 meters away falls under that criteria. But I may have been in offensive stance when I was with her cuz we were in no danger of dying. -Eclipse
