New DK with a question!

Hey, I have my mind made up to be a Vulmane DK!!!

I will be an active poster here..I just wanted to say hey!

Also, any word on DKs ability to use pikes/polearms?

I would have though all defensive fighters will get access to some kind of two handed polearm as an offensive weapon, possibly 1h too though Im not a fan of 1h polearms personally.

good to hear..I am a big fan of polearms/staves/pikes/spears so..if they could not wield them I would rethink my class choice to maybe warrior..but warrior always seems so bland..I usually go for a mix between melee tank/magic melee damage/tank melee damage/magic..

so I was thinking of Main- Vulmane DK and Alt- Goblin Monk..only if DK can hold pikes heh.

Well, im a big lover of the 2 swords. Will the fighter class have the ability of a norm 2 handed sword become 1 handed? I dont know, but i do know, im gonna rock the 2 1 handed sword. But if i decide to roll more defensive DK, then i might put a shield up...who knows...we shall see.

No defensive fighter can dual weild weapons afaik, 1h and shield or 2h only.

If so I hope that's for offensively only, tanking with 2 swords seems mad

Dread Knights cannot Dual Wield, at least not in Beta 5. I highly doubt this will change either. Sword and Board baby!
