EQ vet from the Tribunal Server. Just saying hi... I posted this intro story in the pub first, too:

Stumbling down the road in your normal, haphazard stupor, you trip, fall, and bare the brunt of the ground's assault with your weak chin. You gather your composure and investigate the bane of your walk. A rod, darker than any onyx which you have ever seen lie directly in your path sticking out from some growth on the side of the road. You try to grasp the handle, but immediately you feel a malaise slip over you. Your grip slips and you stand back, contemplating flight from the area. Against your instinct, you decide to look into the brush where the end of the rod lay. Pushing back the leaves, you're horrified to find the head of a huge, black mace lying buried in the chest of a holy knight. His days of servitude are no more. You scream in horror and begin to back away. Turning to run, you are stunned by the sight across the road. Three more holy warriors are just past the edge of the road, neatly piled atop a dark tipped pike that has been driven into the ground. A dark figure moves in just beyond them, with another over its shoulder. The dark figure heaves the other onto the pike with the others. You stumble and fall backward into the bush. The dark figure turns his gaze to you. He quickly begins to exit the woods and cross the road. You try not to make a sound. Your heart beats louder than you can think. He reaches the edge of the road, leans down, and rips the huge hammer that lie next to you off of the ground and out of the knight's chest. Entrails of the body are now strewn across your face as you desperately try not to breath and give away your position. The dark knight slings the mace onto his back and whistles. An impossibly large set of hooves move past you and out onto the road. The dark knight mounts his steed and again turns to the bush you're using as sanctuary. He trots over to you, spreads the leaves with the head of the mace, and looks down at you. As he begins to shout, you leap onto your heels and elbows and start to back away, "TELL THEM I HAVE COME. LET ALL WHO ASK KNOW THAT THE DREAD KNIGHT KULLALL HAS COME TO ATTEND TO THE WEAK!" You take your cue and quickly jump to your feet and flee, thankful that you have been given reason to live, at least for now, by the dread knight.

im like a laughing hyena, i laugh in the face of fear. the more i laugh the more horrified i am :-P and HEY! so what if i got you in the pub... if you can post in the pub and in the dread knights forum, so can i! O.O
