In praise of the defending healer

I think I've gone through all the classes now, except dreadknight, to where they have thier basic blueprint of what they can and can't do...(lvls 10-12ish)

and I gotta say, defensive healers are remarkable, my cleric is as close to on-level indestrutible as I've seen..and then my new Disciple, is just fun! In my head I keep switching between being Kane and Yoda, and as a healer I'd guess getting groups later won't be that terrible to do.

this post is mostly just hopping to get this forum posting...I got no real info or insight to share..hopefully someone else will.

the only thing I've learned is, to unlock a nice 100(ish)point heal, you
use your
lvl 2 kick then your level 4 kick then your level 1 punch =the heal (sorry I can't remember the names off the top of my head, next time I'm in game I'll write them down and edit this post)

it can be a lifesaver in a tight situation, all damage no downtime to heal with the lvl 4 kick's heal, you can ussually deal with anything on level and a friend if you have to.

I ussually use handwraps/etc, but I did find better endurance milage using a staff, of the two I'll stick with style.

just a dumb thing to add, for new disciples, like any class that ends up in melee, buy your armor, the quest rewards are ok, but it's worth the money to buy a chest piece early, and keep the highest level/ratiing of weaponry you can for your level.

It is worth it to find an outfitter, and supply them with raw mats, free of charge/significantly reduced broker price, in exchange for their long term good will. I suspect the ass you save may be your own.
