Of all the wonderful things I was blessed with, there are 2 that stick out:
A table saw (been needing one for years now) Violin lessons (my wife read my mind )

ohhh....Violin? Have you had one all along, or did you get one?
I bought me a wonderful viola to use when I was teaching! The more I found out about it, the better it was. Such a lovely thing! Wish I could do it justice.

I have had one for a while. (I was a music major in another life)
I thought that I would be able to teach myself, but as I am lazy it hasn't happened yet. I still have a desire to play, and so my wife decided to get me lessons =)

"Essentials" has a book out that has a CD you can play with as you go thru the book. That's what I used with my kids and me. And, when the book went further than the CD, I went online and downloaded the rest of the excercises!
