Re: 300
Yes lately not many movies really impressed me, but 300 did, got the same fibe of of it as with Matrix. Finaly something refreshing, something more to how we can imagine Spartans, for me it was really a awesome movie, the art direction, the cinamatic fights where truly put to the screen.
The way they worked together as one force, especialy their first hugh encounter where they were pushed back alittle and then stood foot pushed back and the persians really got it, loved the scene where you saw them fal into the sea from the cliff. Think the book autor can be saticfied with the result of how his book came to life. Remember its a movie for entertaining value......and it sure did entertain me and my friends, even our girlfriends liked the movie as they normaly are not so much into blood filled movies. |

![]() That's hilarious. But the eye-candy in this movie is, I have to admit, quite the smorgasbord! Enjoy the film, Siul -- btw, where in CH are you? I grew up in Geneva. ![]()

Then again, as I recall, 30% of Geneva's population is foreign..... I'm realllly trying to think of an on-topic comment to increase my legitimacy on this response... but I can't. Mmm, eye-candy in 300.... (And Leonidas's occasional Scottish accent - not very Spartan, but endearing all the same.)

Re: 300
How easy is it to cross national borders in Europe, anyways?
300 -- meh...if you remove everything factually spartan from sparta except fighting, you have this movie.
