lol thats pretty bad... my mom is the head nurse for labor and delivery at the major hospital here, and she hears ALL kinds of wack names! lol

the worst i remember... or the one i remember the best was SHimmering Reinika Porko and Cosmix ray Porko lol ^^ poor kids

There's a kid I went to school with who's last name was Bartolomeoli. It doesn't look that tough, but just sound it out to urself and try saying 10 times fast. Whenever he was paged to the office or someother thing, it was pretty funny hearing the person on the PA butcher it like nuts.

My last name is the name of a nice town in Germany, and is fairly simple to pronounce but I've seen it mispelled in the worst of ways.

I'm the II, want to name my first son that (if I curse some unfortunate woman with me children, that is ), though I doubt that any future wife would let me

That said, I was told my mother refused to name me in a common Cuban tradition (I was born in Habana.) You see, they would name the child (this was in '64) based on the Saint's day it was. Apparantly, I was born on St. Barbaro's Day (no, I never looked this up - no clue...) and I would have been named Barbaro. Which, I have seen persons called that and while my mother agrees that is is not a 'nice sounding name' (it's actually pretty 'macho' tho ;P believe it or not lol) it would have been worse since we came to the US in '67 and I would have had to explain that one to everyone constantly.

Another place to get some weird names it from celebs. I cant think of any off the top of my head, but just do a quick google search on weir celeb child names, and you'll be amazed. Celebs will name their kids anything - and then they wonder why the paparazzi wants to take a picture of their kid.

"Oh, let us get a picture of Moon Unit!" That's the name of Frank Zappa's daughter. Dont know who the guy is, but he came up in a list of weirdly named celeb children. Think, your full name would be Moon Unit Zappa, u CANT tell me that's not cruel.
