Ex-subscriber
Hello everyone, thought I ask if this happened to anyone.
eq/soe sent an email saying they would re-activate my account. think they sent it to a lot of folks. the feeling i have for now is this; "I left my ex because of the drama and such after almost five years of reletionship, 99-04. I had been seeing many other since, but they were all short term reletionship. I even dated my ex's sister for a while. but that too didnt work out. Well now, there is this new person in town. She is said to be very hot and may be the one for me. Dont know what time we are suppose to link up but I will be waiting and hopefully not fall asleep. I also found out this new person I am going to meet, has two half sisters. And those half sisters were my exs'. I am not sure what to do, if I see them again, I may end up with all three., just not at the same time of course. This is an analogy. These characters are all made up. I was gonig to use cigarettes but that it would brought up some debate, then pepsi/coke but then probably folks thinking i am promoting it. This was one of the few I thought would be funny/humorous. If your female, replace (girlfriend with boyfriend/spouse). This has nothing to do with the real world. They are all characters I made up. Point is, if I get station pass, i may end up playing eq and eq2, and that, i really dont want to. I want to try Vanguard and start over...make a new family, new friends, and even maybe run into old friends. If my short analogy offended anyone, I am sorry. You can delete this entire post if your and admin here. Just thought i share this, since it came across my mind, out of the blue, while checking my email and got an email from soe/eq telling me they would re activate my account. well anyways, happy new year all. |

Re: Ex-subscriber
I'm probably just confused, but is this a post about the dangers of the Station Pass? If you get sucked back into EQ or EQ2 instead of Vanguard, then doesn't it stand to reason that's where you really want to be?
Nothing wrong with that.

Re: Ex-subscriber
hiya. sorry for the bad analogy.
no, just curious to what changes were made. dont want to pay the station pass, just the vanguard part. just want to play like everyone else you never know thou, may end up in eq1 and or eq2 when vanguard is down for patches and upgrades. I would like to stick to one game from the beginning, start from there and work my way up again. Like reading a book i guess, you start from the beginning and read your way to the end, but in this case there is no end to the story thou. hmm, guess i am trying to say is, i like new things and dont want to fall back on the past. think i need to stop taking these meds, i babble too much. thank you for the reply and comment. |

Re: Ex-subscriber
Having the Station Pass is nice for just that. Patch day. Also no pricing plans or promotions have been released. So there could be added perks for having the pass, such added char slots like in EQ/EQ2. But also being this is not an SoE title there may be nothing at all.
So my best quess is wait and see what is happening closer to launch. That would be the best time to make a desicion and it only takes minutes to get "The Pass" ![]() |

Re: Ex-subscriber
At the risk of detrailing this thread, I'm also thinking the Station Pass is pretty nice (words that I never expected to hear myself say, er, type). I am not sure that my wife will immediately jump ship from EQ2 to Vanguard when it launches. The pass lets me play both for just a little more. Not that I have time for one MMO, much less two, but anyway...

Re: Ex-subscriber
AFAIK, isn't the station pass a thing where if you pay 15 a month you can access like ALL the sony MMO's for a month?
